2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift Likely To Get ADAS; Spied Testing

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza is set to undergo a facelift update, and the carmaker has been actively testing the SUV. Recently, fresh spy shots of the upgraded SUV surfaced online, revealing several new design and feature details, which we talked about in the next section: –

Likely To Get ADAS

Keen-eyed viewers can notice a radar housing in the middle of the grille, suggesting the new 2026 Maruti Brezza could offer ADAS features.

New Engine Incoming?

  • The latest test mule of the new Brezza appears to be undergoing emissions testing, asserting our previous claims that the SUV will get a new powertrain option, probably a 1-litre turbocharged petrol engine from the Maruti Fronx. This will help the sub-4m SUV to benefit from the 18% GST slab, thus lowering the overall prices. For reference, the current version of the Brezza, equipped with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, attracts a higher 40% GST rate.
  • Previous spy shots also confirmed a new 6-speed manual gearbox, which is likely to be paired with this 1-litre unit. It is also likely to be offered with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

Underbody CNG Tank

  • The 2026 Brezza is also expected to retain the existing 1.5-litre engine option, and the CNG version is likely to get an underbody CNG tank like the Maruti Victoris, thereby increasing usable boost space.

Refreshed Styling

  • The latest spy images also confirm the revised front fascia, along with a new rear bumper.
  • Upfront, the facelifted Brezza is likely to get a redesigned grille and a new front bumper with reshaped front fog lamp housings.
  • The SUV is also seen riding on new dual-tone alloy wheels.
  • Inside, it is expected to get a reworked dashboard layout to house a larger 10.1-inch infotainment unit.
  • It is also likely to receive a fresh cabin theme, revised upholstery, and new amenities like a powered driver seat with front seat ventilation function.
