Nissan Gravite Variants Explained

The Nissan Gravite, a cross-badged version of the Renault Triber 7-seater MPV, has finally been launched in India, with prices starting from Rs 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in four variants: Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta and Tekna. A Tekna variant-based special Launch Edition model will also be offered for a limited period. 1. Nissan Gravite Visia

Key Features: –

• Exterior: Piano black grille, projector headlamps, C-shaped accent on both bumpers, black skid plate, tailgate garnish, and 14-inch steel wheels with centre cap.
• Interior: LED cabin lights, centre console with open storage, and digital instrument cluster with 3.5-inch MID.
• Comfort & Convenience: Front power windows, adjustable headrests in 2nd & 3rd row, tilt-adjustable steering, 12V front power outlet, slide & recline function for 2nd row 60:40-split seats, removable 3rd row seats with 50:50 fold function, and manually adjustable side mirrors.
• Safety: Six airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, rear parking sensors, traction control, electronic stability program, hill assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, 3-point seat belt for all, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

2. Nissan Gravite Acenta

Key Features (over Visia variant): –

• Exterior: Full wheel covers, silver finish for skid plates, and piano black side mirror housings & door handles.
• Interior: Centre console with closed storage and rear assist grips for 2nd & 3rd row.
• Comfort & Convenience: Independent AC control for 2nd row and rear room lamp, remote central locking, front USB port, and steering-mounted controls.
• Infotainment: 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and 2 front speakers.
• Safety: Speed-sensing auto-door locks and impact-sensing auto-door unlock.

3. Nissan Gravite N-Connecta

Key Features (over Acenta variant): –

• Exterior: LED turn indicators on side mirrors, LED tail lamps, functional roof rails (50kg capacity), door cladding decals, rear wiper & washer and rear defogger.
• Interior: Dual-tone suede & fabric seats, leatherette cover on steering wheel, seat back pockets, passenger side vanity mirror, and wooden hariline finish on dashboard.
• Comfort & Convenience: Upper glovebox, cooled lower glovebox, cooled centre console, rear power windows, 12V power outlet in 2nd row, PM2.5 air filter, power adjustable & foldable side mirrors, and day/night IRVM.
• Infotainment: Rear speakers.
• Safety: Rear camera.

4. Nissan Gravite Tekna

Key Features (over N-Connecta variant): –

• Exterior: LED projector headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, front LED fog lamps, chrome finish on door handles, and 15-inch dual-tone flex wheels
• Interior: Leatherette seats and a 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster.

4. Nissan Gravite Tekna Launch Edition

Key Features (over Tekna variant): –

• Exterior: C-shaped aero accents on both bumpers, wheel arch aero inserts, drift flow graphics, door visors, and premium chrome belt-line.
• Interior: Gear bezel chrome, and ambient mood lighting.
• Comfort & Convenience: Neck & lumbar cushions for front seats, and an air purifier.
• Infotainment: JBL sound system.
• Safety: Dual dashcam.

Nissan Gravite Engine Specifications

The Gravite is offered with the Magnite’s 1-litre aspirated petrol engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT).

Nissan will also introduce the Gravite CNG in the near future with dealer-fitted dual-cylinder technology.

Competition Check

The Nissan Gravite goes up against its donor model, the Renault Triber, in the Indian market. However, it also serves as an affordable alternative to the Maruti Ertiga, XL6 and Kia Carens.
