Renault Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition Launched At Rs 5.14 Lakh

Renault India has launched a special 10th Anniversary Limited Edition of the Kwid to celebrate a decade of its market debut. Priced from Rs 5.14 lakh (ex-showroom), it is limited to just 500 production units and gets a host of visual & practical add-ons to enhance the overall appeal of the hatch.

The 10th Anniversary Edition of the Renault Kwid, which is based on the Techno (called RXT) variant, is nearly Rs 15,000 more expensive than the standard model.

Renault Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition – What Does it Offer?

Renault has offered this Special Edition in two dual-tone exterior paint schemes: Fiery Red with Black Roof and the new Shadow Grey with Black Roof. While the overall design is the same as the standard model, it gets a new yellow accent on the grille, along with new decals on the doors & C-pillars. There are also the new gloss-black flexi wheel options.

Inside, the Kwid Anniversary Edition features a new leather-wrapped steering wheel with yellow stitching. The contrasting yellow highlight is also present on the seats, door pads and around the touchscreen infotainment.

It also gets puddle lamps and illuminated scuff plates over the standard version.

Powertrain

Underneath the bonnet of the Renault Kwid is a 1-litre, 3-cylinder, petrol engine (69PS/92.5Nm), paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). Interested customers seeking high fuel efficiency can also have the Kwid with a dealer-fitted CNG kit.
