Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 and Himalayan Electric Teased; Launch Expected Soon

The highly anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 and its electric derivative (Him-E) have been officially teased for the first time on social media handles. Royal Enfield’s CEO, Govindarajan Balakrishnan, can also be seen in the images. Both bikes look production-ready, suggesting they could be launched this year.

What To Expect?

The upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 sports a distinctive half-fairing design, giving it a rugged and adventure-ready look. At the front, it features a familiar round LED headlamp, closely resembling the lighting setup seen on several models in Royal Enfield’s current lineup.

The other notable highlights include new trapezoidal mirrors, a single upswept exhaust, dual front disc brakes spoked wheel setup. It also receives a taller windscreen, knobby tyres, a USD fork finished in gold, and the same TFT display as the Himalayan 450. However, the fuel tank looks larger than the existing Himalayan 450.

At the heart of the new Himalayan will be a larger 750cc engine that could be derived from the brand’s existing 650cc engine. It is expected to be bored out to 750cc to make more power and torque. For reference, the RE’s 650cc engine makes 47PS of max power and 56.5Nm of peak torque.

Speaking of the Him-E, currently, it is being used only as a test bed for future electric motorcycles.

While it is not official, we expect the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 to debut in its production guise at the 2025 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, with the India launch expected by the end of this year.

Once launched, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will rival the likes of Kawasaki Versys 650, Moto Morini X-Cape 650 and the Honda NX500.
