Vayve Eva Design and Dimensions
- Made to tackle urban congestion, the Eva is very compact in size. It measures 2950mm in length, 1200mm in width and 1590mm in height. It boasts a wheelbase of 2100mm to accommodate three seats inside the cabin (driver seat in front and two passenger seats in rear). To draw a comparison, it is just 24mm smaller than the MG Comet EV. However, its wheelbase is 90mm bigger than the Comet EV.
- It underpins a monocoque chassis.
- Design-wise, the Eva will remind you of the Mahindra E2O, featuring a compact tall-boy design with just 2 doors to enter the cabin.
- Upfront, it gets a clean fascia with an LED light bar positioned beneath the bonnet, complemented by a curved crease that gives it a smiling, face-like appearance.

It also gets Apple Carplay and Android Auto, connected car tech with 3 years of services, over-the-air updates support, a power window with an anti-pinch function, a height-adjustable driver seat, a start/stop button, a panoramic glass roof, manual climate control, 2-spoke steering with music control, central locking, rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system, auto-dimming IRVM, a driver airbag and a reversing camera.

Author’s Take
On paper, the Vayve Eva seems like a good budget offering for your city commutes. It could serve as a good secondary vehicle for most of the audience. However, the promises are big and the brand is still seeking funding to extend its operations. Initially, it secured angel funding but currently, they are in need of more funds to expand, particularly to set up its plant. Opening bookings could be a way to attract investors. We believe the brand could face challenges in meeting its deadlines.
