The 2024 Jeep Meridian has been launched in India, with prices starting from Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The upgraded SUV receives minor design changes and new features. It also gets two new entry-level variants, making the SUV more affordable than before.

- As mentioned above, the new Jeep Meridian is available in four variants: Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O), and Overland. The carmaker has axed the Limited and X variants from its lineup.
- The SUV has also become up to Rs 3.28 lakh more affordable than before.

2024 Jeep Meridian – What’s New?
- For 2024, the Jeep Meridian receives new LED projector headlamps, LED taillights and 18-inch alloy wheels. The rest of the design elements remain the same as the outgoing model.
- Inside, it features a dual-tone cabin theme, which varies depending on the variant. (Longitude: Black and grey, Longitude Plus: Black and grey, Limited (O): Beige and black, Overland: Tupelo and black)
- The biggest change comes in the form of seat configuration. The Meridian is now available in both 5- and 7-seat versions. The base-spec Longitude is strictly a 5-seater SUV, while the 1-above-base Longitude Plus offers a choice between 5 and 7 seats. The higher-spec Limited (O) and Overland variants come exclusively as 7-seaters.
- Regarding features, the SUV gets an updated 10.1-inch infotainment, a new 10.2-inch digital cluster, standard six airbags, and a new radar-&-camera-based ADAS suite, which comprises active safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and more.

Propulsion Duties
Powering the Jeep Meridian is the same 2-litre diesel engine as the outgoing model that makes 170PS of max power and 350Nm of peak torque. It can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission. It is available with both FWD and AWD choices.
