Maruti Swift Blitz Edition Launched For Festive Season

To boost its sales in the upcoming festive season, Maruti Suzuki has launched a special edition of the Swift called the Blitz. It is essentially an accessoriesed version of the Swift which will feature accessories worth Rs 49,848 for free.

Maruti will offer the Swift Blitz Edition in five variants – LXI, VXI, VXI AMT, VXI(O) and VXI(O) AMT. Depending on the variant, the Blitz Edition will feature a rear underbody spoiler, a roof-end spoiler, fog lamps, illuminated door sills, door visors, and moulding along the sides.

Aside from these accessories, the Swift Blitz Edition will continue to get features available on their respective variants.

Powering the Maruti Swift is a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine (82PS/112Nm), paired with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission. It is also available with a factory-fitted CNG kit that offers a reduced output of 69PS/102Nm. It claims a fuel efficiency of 24.80 kmpl with manual, 25.75 kmpl with AMT and 32.85 km/kg with CNG powertrain.

In the Indian market, the Swift goes up against the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
