2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO (XUV300 Facelift) Launched

Mahindra has launched the facelifted version of the XUV300, now cherished as XUV 3XO, with prices starting at Rs 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Hereโ€™s a breakdown of their prices: โ€“

Mahindra XUV 3XO โ€“ Design and Dimensions

Being a facelift, the 2024 XUV300 (XUV 3XO) receives tons of changes both inside and outside. To start with, it gets a new front grille with a gloss black treatment, along with redesigned headlamps.

Moving to the side, the SUV gets redesigned dual-tone machine-cut alloy wheels, while the rear now gets connected wraparound LED tail lights and a revised tailgate with โ€œXUV 3XOโ€ badging.

Speaking of dimensions, the XUV 3OO boasts the segmentโ€™s largest wheelbase of 2600mm, an impressive approach angle of 23.6 degrees, and a departure angle of 39.6 degrees. Additionally, it offers a water-wading depth of 350mm. It boasts a cargo space of 364 litres.

Mahindra also claims that the XUV 3XO offers best-in-class forward visibility of 23.7 degrees, matching that of the XUV700.

Mahindra has revamped the interiors, drawing inspiration from the XUV 400 EV. Mirroring its electric counterpart, the XUV 3OO now features a dashboard fitted with an AdrenoX-powered 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system and a digital driverโ€™s display. Additionally, it introduces a panoramic sunroof, a pioneering feature in its segment. Design updates also extend to the steering wheel, which now showcases gloss black elements in lieu of a silver finish.

Other notable additions include a Harman Kardon sound system, 360-degree surround view system with blind-view monitor, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charger, 65 W USB-C charging port, dual-zone climate control, driving modes (Zip, Zap, Zoom), and connected car tech with 80+ features, including Alexa built-in support and remote vehicle controls.

Safety

Mahindra asserts that the frame of the XUV 3OO comprises 45% high-strength steel, contributing to its robust construction. Further enhancing safety are over 35 standard safety features, including six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, ISOFIX anchors, ESC, hill hold control and more. Additionally, higher-spec trims also feature electronic parking brakes with auto-hold and Level-2 ADAS system, similar to the XUV700, comprising features like adaptive cruise control, smart park assist, lane keep assist, auto emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and more.

The XUV 3OO retains the same 1.2-litre MPFI turbo and TGDi turbocharged petrol engines, generating 111PS and 130PS, respectively. Transmission options include the existing 6-speed manual and the new Aisin-sourced 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Additionally, the 117PS 1.5-litre diesel engine remains on offer, exclusively paired with the 6-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.
