Hyundai Creta Facelift Bookings Open; Exterior and Interior Revealed Partially

Ahead of its official launch on January 16, Hyundai Motors India has started accepting bookings for the Creta facelift for a token amount of Rs 25,000. The carmaker has also revealed the exterior and interior of the upcoming SUV, flaunting significant design changes and new features.

2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift – What’s New?

Exterior

  • Though Hyundai is yet to reveal the complete exterior design, we can notice some significant overhauls on the front and rear profiles.
  • The facelifted SUV follows the brand’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’, providing it with a futuristic appearance. It features a Venue-like rectangular grille up front, with width-spanning LED DRLs. Below is the new split quad-beam LED headlamp setup stacked vertically on the tweaked chunkier bumper.

  • Towards the rear, the facelifted Creta features a new tailgate, along with revised connected LED tail lamps that mimic the front DRL setup.

Interior

  • Changes on the inside are more significant with a new dashboard design, featuring twin 10.25-inch connected displays for infotainment and instrument cluster.
  • Notably, there’s a black piano panel on the passenger side housing side AC vents. Below is an open storage space with ambient lighting. The SUV also boasts a new touch-based AC control panel, sleek central AC vents, and a revised centre console tunnel.
  • On the features front, the upgraded SUV receives a 360-degree surround view system, dual-zone climate control, and ADAS suite, among others.
  • Features like panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone charger, air purifier, ventilated front seats, BOSE sound system, connected car tech, six airbags, ISOFIX anchors, hill hold/descent assist, TPMS, ESC, etc., will be carried forward from the outgoing model.

Variant Lineup and Colour Options

  • The facelifted Creta will be offered in seven trim levels: E, EX, S, S (O), SX, SX Tech and SX (O).
  • Speaking of its colour palette, it will come in six mono-tone: Robust Emerald Pearl (New), Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Fiery Red, and Titan Grey; and one dual-tone colour option – Atlas White with Black Roof.

2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift – Powertrain

  • The 2024 Creta welcomes a new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine option (160PS/253Nm) from the Hyundai Verna with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.
  • The existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (115PS/144Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel engine (115PS/250Nm) options will also continue to be offered.
