Skoda Kushaq, Slavia Elegance Editions Launched In India

Following the footsteps of Volkswagen, Skoda Auto has now also launched the special edition variants for its Kushaq and Slavia, dubbed as “Elegance Edition.” These limited-run Skoda Kushaq and Slavia sport cosmetic enhancements, along with various additional features over their regular 1.5-litre Style variants.

Skoda Slavia and Kushaq Elegance Editions – What’s Special?

  • Being the limited-run special edition version, the Elegance Edition offers a new Deep Black exterior body shade paint for both models, complemented by rich chrome elements all around, including the chrome lower door garnish. It also gets a calligraphic ‘Elegance’ insignia on the B-pillars.
  • Furthermore, the Slavia Elegance Edition also features a chrome trunk garnish and a Scuff plate with ‘Slavia’ inscribed on it, whereas the Kushaq gets 17-inch VEGA Dual Tone alloy wheels that can also be seen on the Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition. On the other hand, the Slavia flaunts the 16-inch Ving alloy wheels.
  • Other notable additions for both the Elegance Editions include puddle lamps, sporty aluminium pedals, an ‘Elegance’ badge on the steering wheel, and new textile mats and ‘Elegance’ branded cushions, seat-belt cushions as well as neck rests.
  • The features list for both models remain identical to their regular 1.5-litre TSI variants, comprising a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, digital cluster, auto AC, rear AC vents, powered front seats with ventilation function, single-pane electric sunroof, up to six airbags, and much more.

Powertrain

Powering the Skoda Slavia and Kushaq Elegance Editions are the 1.5-litre turbocharged TSI petrol engine that makes 150PS of max power and 250Nm of max twist. Transmission options include both 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission options. Skoda offers this engine with the ACTIVE CYLINDER TECHNOLOGY (ACT) that turns off two of four cylinders in low-load conditions to save some amount of fuel.
