Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 Discontinued In India

With the arrival of the all-new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, the Himalayan 411 has been discontinued in India. The new Himalayan is priced between Rs 2.69 – 2.84 lakh (ex-showroom Chennai).

  • Launched in 2016, the Himalayan 411 was the brand’s first adventure tourer motorcycle, significantly contributing to India’s ADV segment.
  • For those who aren’t aware, the chassis of the Himalayan 411 was developed in collaboration with UK-based Harris Performance, a company owned by Eicher Motors, which is also the parent company of the Royal Enfield.
  • Initially facing challenges in India, the bike underwent improvements, eventually becoming India’s most loved adventure tourer. It gained recognition for its powerful low-end grunt and appropriate highway performance.
