The highly-popular Tata Harrier has recently recieved a mid-life facelift update. The brand has also taken this opportunity to update the variant lineup of this mid-size SUV, offering it in four new trim levels: – Smart, Pure, Adventure and Fearless. While we have already brought to you the entry-level Smart (O) variant, in this thread, let’s check out the second-from-the-base Pure variant.
Front and Side
- The front and side profiles of the Pure (O) trim resembles those of the base-spec Smart variant, featuring a width-spanning LED DRL, vertically oriented LED projector headlamp, chunkier bumper with silver skid plate, silver alloy wheels, blacked-out ORVMs and body-coloured door handles.
Rear
- The rear profile also looks similar to the base-spec Smart variant; however, the Pure variant also includes a rear wiper & washer, although it is surprisingly not shown in the image.
Interior
- Inside, the Harrier Pure (O) variant continues to sport the all-black theme with grey-coloured highlights and fabric seat upholstery.
- Notable feature additions over the Smart trim include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with OTA updates support, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, 250+ native voice commands, six speakers, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, 45W fast-charging socket in the front, electrically foldable side mirrors and steering mounted controls for audio & calling assistance.
- For passenger’s protection, it gains a rear-view camera over the standard safety kit.
Engine and Transmission
Similar to the Tata Harrier Smart trim, the Pure variant also comes in a sole 2-litre diesel-manual powertrain combination that makes 170PS of max power and 350Nm of peak torque. It claims a fuel efficiency of 16.80 kmpl.
