Triumph Speed 400 On-Road Prices Revealed For Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Goa

The Triumph Speed 400 was recently launched in India at a very competitive price tag of Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the first 10,000 buyers will get the bike at a discounted price of Rs 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom). Engine Specs, Features and More

  • Triumph has offered the Speed 400 with an all-new 398.15cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that makes 40 PS of max power at 8,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm of peak at 6,500 rpm.
  • It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slip-&-assist clutch that not only enhances stability during downshifting but also ensures smoother & more seamless downshift. It also reduces the effort to operate the clutch lever.
  • The brand claims that it has a service interval of 16,000 kilometres.
  • Design-wise, it flaunts a neo-retro styling, with key styling elements including round LED headlamps, bar-end mirrors, buffy 13-litres of fuel tank, 17-inch spoked alloy wheels, a single-piece seat and sleeker looking LED tail light.

  • When it comes to features, the bike gets an all-LED lighting system, ride-by-wire technology, C-type USB charging port, dual-channel ABS, a switchable traction control system, USD front forks, preload-adjustable gas-charged rear monoshock, ByBre brake callipers, and a semi-digital instrument cluster, unfortunately, with no smartphone connectivity support.
  • In the Indian market, the Triumph Speed 400 goes up against the Honda CB300R, KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R, and the Zontes GK350.
