Hyundai Cars, SUVs Lineup Get Safety Upgrade At No Added Cost

  • In order to make its cars and SUVs safer, Hyundai Motor India has updated its entire lineup with more safety features.
  • Now all Hyundai models will come loaded with 3-point seat belts and seatbelt reminders for all seats as part of the standard fitment.
  • Features like electronic stability control, vehicle stability control and hill assist control have also been made standard in Venue and all the models above it. The Hyundai i20 N-line and Venue N-Line also benefit from this upgrade.

For those who aren’t aware, Hyundai offers standard 6 airbags in its premium cars and SUVs like Creta, Alcazar, new-gen Verna and Ioniq 5. On the other hand, the Grand i10 Nios, i20, Aura and Venue come with four airbags as standard, with their range-topping variants getting two additional airbags for added safety.

In other news, Hyundai Motors is gearing up to launch a new micro-SUV in India that will be christened ”Exter”. It is expected to make its debut in the coming months. It was recently spied undisguised in Korea, revealing its complete design profile.
