Is there any mechanical change?

Hyundai hasn’t made any change beneath the bonnet. The 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios retains the existing 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, with an optional factory-fitted CNG kit. However, the engine is now E20 (20 per cent Ethanol Blend) and BS6 Phase 2 emission norms compliant.

The gasoline mill is rated at 83PS/113Nm and gets the choice of a 5-speed manual and Automated Manual Transmission (AMT). The CNG model, on the other hand, produces 69PS/95Nm and comes paired with a manual gearbox. The 1-litre turbo-petrol engine has been dropped for now.
