All-New INGLO Architecture

– All these electrified SUVs will be based on Mahindra’s all-new Heartcore design philosophy and will underpin the purpose-built INGLO architecture that uses Volkswagen’s MEB platform components such as electric motors, battery system components, and battery cells.

– It’s a modular platform that will be used to build SUVs that will range between 4,368mm and 4,735mm in length.

– According to the brand, the break-over angle is designed to be 20 degrees, and battery clearance is to be 218mm.

– With a significant reduction in underbody weight, the INGLO features one of the lightest skateboards and high-energy-density batteries (use the LFP chemistry). It is claimed to offer class-leading safety, thrilling performance, excellent range, and superior driving dynamics.

– Mahindra will use semi-active dampers to provide a balance of pleasing ride and superior handling.

BE.07

– These EVs will follow a common battery pack design with lean modules and their battery pack will range between 60 to 80kWh. They will also support ultra fast-changing capabilities of up to 175kW. That said, they can be charged up to 80 percent in less than 30 min.

– Speaking of the powertrain, they will come in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel-drive systems, developing a whopping grunt of 170-210kW and 250-290kW, respectively, enabling them to complete the century sprint in just 5 to 6 seconds.

– Mahindra states the 80kWh battery should offer a driving range of approximately 435km to 450km under the WLTP cycle.

– Mahindra also claims that these electric SUVs will get a flat floor for added space inside the cabin, permitting various seat configurability.

BE.05

– Products based on this architecture will feature advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), connected car tech with embedded 5G network capabilities, over-the-air updates support, and Vehicle-to-Lead (V2L) functionality to turn the vehicle into a portable powerhouse.

BE.05 Interior

– The carmaker has also revealed the interior design of BE range that features a futuristic minimalist dashboard layout, with notable elements including a fighter jet-like wraparound cockpit design, connected screen setup, an aircraft-styled drive selector, panoramic sunroof, and modernistic bucket seats with wraparound headrests. They will also get personalized settings for seats to ensure the utmost comfort & convenience of the passengers. It includes electrically seat adjustment, climate control, music preferences, and ambient mood lighting.
