Yezdi Adventure Vs Royal Enfield Himalayan: Which Bike You Should Buy?

The Adventure is the most expensive offering of the recently revived Yezdi Motorcycles. And as part of the adventurer segment, it goes toe-to-toe with the infamous Royal Enfield Himalayan. How well does the Yezdi Adventure fare against the competition? Let’s find out!

Engine Specifications

• With a displacement of 411cc, the Royal Enfield Himalayan has a bigger engine in comparison to the Yezdi Adventure, but despite that, the Adventure has more power on offer (+5.9PS). However, the Himalayan is more torquey by 2Nm.
• The Yezdi Adventure comes with more sophisticated liquid cooling technology compared to the air-cooled technology of the RE Himalayan, owing to better performance and greater resistance to hotter climate conditions.

Dimensions

• The dimensions of Adventure have not yet been stated by the Yezdi, except for its fuel tank and seat height which are both on the higher side in comparison to the Himalayan, making it slightly harder to drive for the shorter riders. However, its lesser curb weight works in its favor.
• Both the bikes sport identical wheelbase and ground clearance.

Safety and Suspension

• The Adventure sits on a double-cradle frame whereas the Himalayan sits on a half-duplex split crane frame.
• Both the ADVs get dual-channel ABS, but the Yezi Adventure also gets three ABS modes for greater control and more systematic braking for each type of terrain.
• Disc are present in both the wheels for both the two-wheelers; however, the Adventure has a bigger front disc at 320mm.

Comfort And Convenience

• The Adventure is the better equipped out of the two in terms of technology, with an all-digital drivers display, an LED lighting kit with DRLs, and a USB charging socket, all of which are missing in the Himalayan. Although necessary features like Bluetooth connectivity with navigation are available in both ADVs.
• The Adventure manages to bring that modern appeal even in such a rugged form, and although some might appreciate the analog theme of the Himalayan to go with its off-road nature, it’s the Yezdi Adventure that still manages to ups the ante in terms of quality.
• All three bikes get an electric start, but the Adventure also gets a kick-starter for those rare moments when your battery is dead, or when you need a taste of nostalgia.
