Latest Update: Similar to its European counterpart, the Indian-spec KTM RC 390 has finally been fitted with an adjustable rear mono-shock. Tap here for details.

After announcing the prices of the new KTM RC 390 earlier this month, the upgraded sports bike finally goes on sale in India. With a price tag of Rs 3,13,922 (ex-showroom Delhi), the bike comes with significant visual and functional upgrades, all for a gain of Rs 36,287 over the previous model.

2022 KTM RC 390 – What’s new?

The new generation KTM RC 390 features a new and more aerodynamic bodywork with a new single-piece LED projector headlamp with boomerang-shaped DRLs-cum-indicators and fairing-mounted rear-view mirrors, a bigger windscreen, a revised fuel tank design with enhanced capacity, and a new split seat setup with broader pillion support.

  • A TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity (misses out on navigation)
  • Lightweight equipment for a more riding-focused experience: a new 1.5kg ultra-light frame (comprising a trellis frame and a bolt-on sub-frame), 1.7kg lighter five-spoke alloys, lightweight footpegs, and 960gm of lighter braking hardware.
  • 13.7 liters of fuel tank capacity (+4.2-litres up from the outgoing model)
