2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift โ€“ What will be new?

For those who arenโ€™t aware, it will be the first significant update for the Hyundai Venue since its inception in 2019. It will get various visual enhancements and a host of new features. For beginners, the upgraded Venue will get a new grille (somewhat similar to the facelifted Creta), updated headlamp setup, tweaked bumpers, refreshed alloy wheels, and redesigned LED taillamps which seem to be connected by a thin LED strip.

Inside, the facelifted Venue will get a larger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a digital driverโ€™s display (likely to borrow from i20), a Bose sound system, front parking sensors, ventilated front seats, and probably a 360-degree camera. Existing features like the single-pane sunroof, auto climate control, cruise control, wireless smartphone charger, push-button start, tire pressure monitoring system, etc., will be retained.

We donโ€™t expect any mechanical changes in the facelifted Hyundai Venue. It will continue with the ongoing powertrain options: 83PS 1.2-liter petrol, 100PS 1.5-litre diesel, and 120PS 1.0-litre turbo-petrol. Transmission options include a manual unit for all the mills and an optional 7-speed DCT automatic and 6-speed iMT for the turbo-gasoline motor. While it is not official, Hyundai could retune its diesel engine for more power output. It could also receive a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission as the Kia Sonet.
