MG Extended Free Fast Charging Support For Its Customers

All the existing and new customers of MG ZS EV, we have a good news for you. The carmaker has extended its free public charging support to June 30, 2022. Earlier, the offer was valid till March 31, 2022. That means customers can continue to charge their ZS EV without any cost at all EV charging stations operated by Fortum. However, post June 30, customers will have to pay for the services.

Currently, Fortum has DC fast chargers (50/60 kW) in 16 primary locations, in cities like Mohali, Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Bangalore. In Hyderabad, Fortum also has 38 slower charging stations (15/20 kW) spread across prime locations of the city.

For those who aren’t aware, MG has recently updated the ZS EV with a tweaked design, new features, and a bigger 50.3kWh IP69K-rated battery pack that can be charged up to 80 percent in simply 1 hour when plugged into a 50kW DC fast charger. It is claimed to deliver a range of over 460 kilometers in full charge and can sprint from 0 to 100kmph in just 8.5 seconds.
