Tata To Unveil A New EV Concept On April 6

Tata Motors has teased a mysterious electric vehicle that will break cover on April 6. It could be one of the 10 electric vehicles (EVs) that Tata announced to launch by 2025. While the carmaker remained numb on the upcoming product, the teaser hints that it could be an electric SUV concept. Why do we think so? Well, watch the teaser:

The teaser video shows a few body panels of the upcoming Tata EV such as a sporty front bumper with sharply-cut air dams and a slanted roofline. Yes, these details aren’t enough to accurately estimate the body type of the car, but a guess can be made. Also, these sharp notched lines visible in the teaser are reminding us of the Tata Sierra EV concept.

We also reckon that the upcoming Tata EV will be based on an all-new dedicated EV platform or highly optimized existing EV-ready architecture and could feature an advanced version of the Ziptron EV powertrain for a range of over 400km on a single charge.
