Triumph Tiger Sport 660 Tourer Now Available In India

Triumph Tiger Sport 660 & Tiger 1200 | Gagan Choudhary

The all-new Triumph Tiger Sport 660 has finally arrived in India, marking a noteworthy move for the British marque in the touring segment. The brand has priced it at Rs 8.95 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory), making it Rs 1.5 lakh more expensive than the Trident 660 naked roadster that it is based on.

Triumph Tiger Sport 660 – How it is different from Trident 660?

Triumph has placed the Tiger Sport 660 as a middle-weight adventure sports alternative to the Trident 660. It has been heavily modified to make it suitable for longer trips. The key changes include skinny front fairing, sizable & height-adjustable windscreen, raised & 40mm wider handlebars, slightly forward footpegs for comfortable positions, and 30mm taller seat height (835mm).

Triumph has also used a sharper rake setup for more perceptive handling and a longer subframe to support luggage & offer more seating room. The bike has also been equipped with integrated pannier mounts, longer travel suspensions (150mm travel at both ends), and a bigger 17.2-liter fuel tank (3.2 liters larger than that of the Trident). At 162mm, the Tiger Sport 660 offers 12mm more ground clearance than the Trident’s.

All the above-mentioned changes have resulted in a curb weight of 206kg, making it 17kg heavier than its patron model.
