The MG Astor comes with a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol (140PS/220Nm) and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol mill (110PS/144Nm). While the former is paired with a 6-speed automatic, the latter gets a 6-speed manual and CVT options.

Mahindra XUV700

Winner of many accolades and the most sought-after car in the country, the Mahindra XUV700 has won many hearts since it arrived in the Indian market. Its top-of-the-line AX7 trim with luxury pack comes equipped with ADAS technology, with engine options of either a 2.0-liter mStallion petrol with 200PS of max power and 380Nm of torque or the iconic 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine with up to 185PS of power and 450Nm of torque.

So far, we have three cars that offer Level-1 and 2 ADAS capabilities in India, but the competition is yet to catch up, which means this list is expected to grow exponentially in the near future.
