Select Tata Harrier Variants Gets More Features; Prices Hiked

  • Features like wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, air purifier, ventilated seats and connected car tech now available with regular variants of Tata Harrier.
  • Prices of the mid-size SUV have goes up from Rs 3,000 to Rs 47,000, depending on the variant.

Tata Motors has offered all the newly added features of Harrier’s Kaziranga Edition to its regular variants. That said, an air purifier will now be available from the mid-spec XT trim onwards, while the convenience of wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration will be offered from the second-to-top XZ variant onwards. On the other hand, the ventilated front seats and iRA connected car tech will now also be available in the range-topping XZ+ trim. 

Aside from the features revision, the brand has also increased the prices of all the variants of the SUV, save for the Kaziranga Edition.

No design and mechanical changes have been made to the SUV. It will continue to be offered with the ongoing 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine (170PS/350Nm), mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

In the Indian market, the Tata Harrier goes up against the MG Hector, Jeep Compass, Mahindra XUV700, and select diesel variants of Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos.
