Design and Underpinnings

The Oben Rorr features a neo-retro styling, with notable design elements including a circular headlamp, all-LED lighting system, frame encased battery pack, and more.

The underpinnings of the e-bike consist of a trellis frame linked to a telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock. It rolls on 17-inch wheels and features disc brakes at both ends, with CBS as standard. What’s more impressive is its plentiful 200mm ground clearance and a 230mm water-wading capacity.

Features

Oben has packed the Rorr electric motorcycle with a plethora of modern-day features like an all-LED lighting system, three riding modes (Eco, City, and Havoc), GPS tracking on the battery pack, a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth-based smartphone connectivity function and connected techs like battery status, geo-fencing, geo-tagging, ride details, charging station locator, on-demand service, predictive maintenance, and roadside assistance, etc.

Oben Rorr Battery Pack, Range, and Top Speed

The heart of the Rorr e-bike is an IP67 rated 4.4kWh LFP (lithium-iron-phosphate) fixed battery pack that powers a 10kW frame-mounted permanent magnet motor (IP65 rated) that delivers 4kW continuous power and 62Nm of peak torque. It is good enough for a 100 kmph top speed and 0-40 kmph acceleration in just 3 seconds.

Oben claims a 200 kilometers range with Rorr in ideal driving conditions. However, the actual range will be around 100km in the Havoc mode, 120km in the City mode, and 150km in the Eco mode.

Charging Time

Oben asserts that the electric bike can be fully charged in just 2 hours via a home charger that can be plugged into any 15A power socket. And in case you don’t have such sockets in your parking area, the brand will set up one at no extra cost. The EV maker has also announced to establish over 1,000 public charging stations across the nation.

Oben Rorr Colour Options

The Oben Rorr comes in three colours: Red, Yellow, and Black.
