Renault India has launched a Limited Edition of the Triber to mark the sub-4m MPV’s one lakh sales in India. This special edition boasts cosmetic upgrades and additional features over the RXT variant it’s based on. Interested customers can book the car either online on the My Renault app or via authorized dealerships. Now, here’s a look at its detailed prices: –

As the above table indicates, the Renault Triber Limited Edition is Rs 28,000 more expensive than the standard RXT trim. For this added premium, it comes wrapped in dual-tone (Moonlight Silver and Cedar Brown options) with a black roof and distinctive 14-inch wheel covers that mimic alloys.

Inside the cabin, the Limited Edition gets new Akaza fabric upholstery along with a piano black finish on the dash and a few additional features over the RXT trim such as side front airbags, steering mounted audio controls, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, and a rear parking camera.

Since there are no mechanical updates, it continues to run the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol unit that delivers 72PS and 96Nm and is mated to a 5-speed manual and an optional AMT transmission.

For those who aren’t aware, the Renault Triber is currently one of the safest MPVs on sale in India. It goes up against the Datsun Go Plus in India. However, going by its price range, the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Grand i10 Nios can also be seen as indirect competitors.
