Tata Tigor CNG Vs Hyundai Aura CNG: Mileage and Price Comparison

Tata Tiago and Tigor CNG are the latest entrants in the fastest emerging CNG space. While we have already compared the Tiago CNG with its rivals, now it’s time to see how the Tigor CNG performs against its sole competitor, the Hyundai Aura CNG. So, here’s the detailed specification, mileage, and price comparison of these environment-friendly vehicles: â€“

  • The Tigor CNG is slightly more powerful than the Hyundai Aura on paper. However, their torque figures are quite identical.
  • It is also worth noting that Aura boast a four-cylinder mill. That means, it will be more refine than the Tigor’s 3-cylinder unit.
  • Both these CNG models get a 5-speed manual transmission as standard.
  • The Hyundai Aura CNG offers maximum fuel efficiency here, with its 65-liter tank (around 10-10.5 kg) will give you a better tank range than the Tigor CNG.

Tigor XZ+: Rs 8.29 lakh

Aura S: Rs 7.74 lakh

Verdict

The Tata Tigor XZ and Hyundai Aura S variants are priced more or less the same. While the Tigor CNG does better in terms of performance, the Aura gives more mileage. Also, both these trims come with almost identical features. But in our opinion, the Aura S would make more sense as it also offers superior interior quality and Hyundai’s highly ranked customer service support. However, if the budget is not a bar and you want a feature-loaded car, you can go for the Tigor XZ+ trim.
