Toyota Glanza, Urban Cruiser Crossed 1 Lakh Sales Mark In India

Toyota Kirloskar Motors has announced that its premium Glanza hatchback and Urban Cruiser sub-4 meter SUV, together have crossed the one lakh sales milestone in the country. Out of these 1 lakh units, the Glanza clocked 65,000 units, while the rest were in the name of Urban Cruiser. This is a huge achievement considering they are rebadged versions of the highly popular Maruti Baleno and Vitara Brezza, respectively.

As a part of the Toyota-Suzuki partnership, the Toyota Glanza was launched in June 2019, while the Urban Cruiser debuted in September 2020. Both these vehicles are built by Maruti Suzuki and supplied to Toyota. The brand will soon introduce Ertiga-based Rumion and Ciaz-based Belta in our country.
