Toyota has finally revealed its upcoming Hilux lifestyle pickup truck that is slated to launch in March 2022. It will be available in a double cab body style with a 5-seating layout and will go up against the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross. Interested customers can make their bookings online at a token amount of Rs 50,000 or by paying Rs 1 lakh at authorized dealerships. But before you put your blood-sweat earnings, we advise you to have a look at the features on offer with each variant: –

2022 Toyota Hilux: Variant-wise Features

1. Toyota Hilux Standard

Key Features: –

Exterior: – Dusk sensing halogen headlamps with integrated LED turn indicators, trapezoid-shaped grille
with silver surround, aero-stabilizing fins on ORVMs, machine finishes alloy wheels, steel step painted rear bumper, side turn indicators on ORVMs, chrome-plated door handles, front & rear fog lamps.

Interior: – All-black cabin, fabric seats, 60:40 split seat in 2nd row, TFT multi-information display (MID), heat rejection glass, soft upholstery & metallic accents across the cabin, center console box.

Comfort & Convenience: – Manually adjustable driver’s seat, multi-function steering wheel, cooled upper glovebox, electrically adjustable ORVMs, manual AC, cruise control, tilt & telescopic adjustment for steering, auto-dimming IRVM, auto up/down function for all windows with jam protection, driving modes (Eco and Power).

Entertainment: – 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment with Bluetooth, USB, and Android Auto / Apple CarPlay connectivity support, 6-speakers.

Safety: – 7 Airbags, ABS, front & rear parking sensors, rear camera, VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) with BA (Brake Assist), HAC (Hill Assist Control), anti-theft alarm, whiplash injury lessening concept front seats, ISOFIX child restraint system, seat-belts with pretensioner & force limiter, speed sensing auto door lock, emergency brake signal.

Off-Road: – 4WD with high (H4) and low (L4) range, Active Traction Control, Downhill Assist Control, Auto Limited Slip Differential, Electronic Differential Lock, an approach angle of 29.22 degrees, departure angle of 26.35 degrees.

Exterior: – Dusk sensing LED headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs), LED taillamps, chrome surround for front piano-black grille, STEEL STEP CHROME rear bumper, Super Chrome alloy wheel design, chrome beltline, chrome finishing on ORVMs.

Interior: – Leather seats, chrome finishing on inside door handles, center armrest.
