As its name suggests, the Xtec variant of the Hero Pleasure Plus comes with a new semi-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth-based connectivity that displays incoming & missed call alerts, new message alerts along with the phone battery status. The other notable features of the Pleasure Plus XTEC includes side-stand engine cut-off, metal front fender, and Combined Braking System (CBC).

Powering the Hero Pleasure Plus XTec is the same 110cc single-cylinder fuel-injected petrol engine as other trims that makes out 8PS at 7,000rpm and 8.7Nm at 5,500rpm. It also comes with the brand's patented i3s technology that eliminates the undesired fuel burning during idling situations.

Commenting on its launch, Naveen Chauhan, the Head of Sales and Aftersales, Hero MotoCorp, said –

The iconic Pleasure brand enjoys a strong connect with the customers. With a host of first-in segment features, the new Pleasure+ ‘XTec’ is surely going to strengthen our scooter portfolio and will bring great cheer to the youth this festive season.

Author's Take

With the new XTec model, the Hero Pleasure Plus has become a more desirable product than the Honda Activa 6G (Rs 69,080 – 72,325) and the TVS Jupiter (Rs 65,673 – 75,773). However, it would have been better if it had turn-by-turn navigation assistance.
