2021 Honda Amaze Facelift Bookings Open At Select Dealerships

Select Honda dealerships across the country have started accepting unofficial bookings for the Amaze facelift at a token amount of Rs 5,000. Its launch is expected on 17 August 2021. While official details of the new Honda Amaze are yet to be revealed, it is likely to get a slightly tweaked styling, along with some added features.

For cosmetical updates, we can presume subtle enhancements to the front & rear profile of the car in the form of restyled bumpers and the addition of LED headlamps. It could also get a refreshed front grille along with a new alloy wheel design. Honda could also offer new color choices for the sedan. At present, the Amaze is available in five color options – Lunar Silver Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Radiant Red, Modern Steel Metallic, and Golden Brown Metallic.

Changes will continue to the cabin as well. It is likely to receive revised fabric upholstery, and a host of new features like a new touchscreen infotainment system with connected car technology, front armrest, leather-wrapping on the steering wheel, and more. Besides, it will retain features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, height-adjustable driver’s seat, keyless entry with push-button start/stop, steering-mounted controls, voice commands, cruise control, etc.

Under the hood, the Amaze is likely to carry forward the ongoing powertrain options – 1.2-liter petrol engine (90PS/110Nm) and 1.5-liter diesel engine (up to 100PS/200Nm). Both engines are paired to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission.

Expect the facelifted Amaze to be priced at a premium over the existing model that is priced between Rs 6.22 lakh and Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will continue to take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and Ford Aspire
