2021 Kia Seltos Launched At Rs 9.95 Lakh

Launched in August 2019, the Kia Seltos is one of the best-selling cars of the compact SUV segment. And to maintain its dominance in the market, the brand has once again given the SUV a mid-life update. Similar to the last year, the 2021 Seltos has received variants rejig, new features, and a new iMT gearbox option. First have a look at the update variant line-up of the Kia Seltos and their pricing: –

  • While the HTX+ automatic diesel variant was terminated some weeks ago, the Seltos has received a new HTK+ petrol iMT clutchless variant, which will offer you the thrill of manuals with the ease of automatics. 
  • The brand has also introduced a new GTX optional turbocharged petrol-manual variant, which has replaced the older GTX variant. The brand has also discontinued the HTX Anniversary Edition. 
  • The pricing of the entire variant line-up has also been gone up by up to Rs 20,000. With this, the Kia Seltos now ranges between Rs 9.95 lakh and Rs 17.45 lakh (ex-showroom). 

2021 Kia Seltos – New Features

  • The updated Seltos now offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in HTK variant, whereas the HTK+ trim gets remote engine start from the key fob itself.
  • iMT equipped HTK+ variant also receives an automatic climate control, new beige colored upholstery, and electric sunroof.

  • The brand has also emphasized safety & convenience and made features such as ESC, hill-start assist, traction control, brake assist, and an air purifier with bacteria and virus protection available from the HTX variant onwards.
  • The Korean carmaker has also updated the Hello Kia AI that now receives a wider range of voice commands to operate various functions such as open/closing driver window, adjusting wind flow, etc.

  • While the HTX+ variant now gets new black & brown leatherette seat covers, the newly launched GTX (O) trim will sport beige & black leatherette covers with red stitching. 
  • Increasing the sporty quotient of the top-spec GTX+ trim, the brand has equipped its petrol-DCT model with paddle shifters.

Mechanically, there are no changes have been made to the Seltos save for the introduction of the iMT gearbox. The SUV will continue to be available with the following three engine options: –
