Prices Of BS6 Aprilia SXR 125 Scooter Prices Revealed Ahead Of Launch

Italian two-wheelers manufacturer Aprilia is gearing up to launch the BS6 SXR 125 maxi-styled scooter in the Indian market. Its pre-launch bookings are already underway for a token amount of Rs 5,000 on Aprilia’s official website. While its pricing will be officially revealed on its launch day, some media reports are suggesting that it could be priced at Rs 1.16 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). At this price point, it will be around Rs 10,000 more affordable than the SXR 160 (Rs 1.26 lakh) and about Rs 30,000 more expensive than its core rival Suzuki Burgman Street, which is priced between Rs 83,008-86,508 (ex-showroom).

BS6 Aprilia SXR 125

Design-wise, the Aprilia SXR 125 looks similar to its elder sibling with notable elements like sharp front fairing, twin crystal LED wraparound headlamps, black windscreen, 5-spoke Y-shaped metallic grey alloy wheels, chrome finished exhaust, diamond reflection wrap around LED taillamps with integrated rear blinkers. In fact, the colour options will also be similar to the SXR 160 – blue, white, black, and red. The only major difference is the engine configuration. The baby SXR will employ a 124.45cc 3-valve fuel-injected engine that churns out 9.52PS and 9.6Nm.

In terms of features, the brand has equipped the SXR 125 with an all-LED lighting system, USB charging port, tinted visor, combi braking system (CBS), and a fully digital instrument cluster that comes with host of features including two tripmeters, clock, RPM meter, mileage indicator, average speed display, instant mileage indicator, outside temperature display, average speed and various other information that will help you on the go. Customers can also opt for accessories like mobile connectivity tech, which will enable the rider to connects its smartphone to the scooter using a dedicated mobile application. With this, one can not only track his/her vehicle but can also raise alarm & service concern along with several other features.
