About Hero XPulse 200

Priced at Rs 1,15,230 (ex-showroom), the Hero XPulse 200 is the most affordable adventurer motorcycle (ADV) available in the Indian market. The heart of the XPulse is a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, 4-stroke, 2-valve advanced fuel-injected engine that comes with XSens technology. With the conjunction of a 5-speed manual transmission, the engine delivers 18.08PS of maximum power at 8500rpm and 16.45Nm of peak torque at 6500rpm.

The XPulse 200 is well-known for its impressive city and off-road riding quality. It is based on a tubular diamond frame, which is suspended on a 37mm conventional telescopic front fork and 7-step preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear, offering an impressive wheel travel of 190mm and 170mm respectively. The bike rides on 21-& 18-inch wire-spoke rims that comes wrapped in Ceat dual-purpose tyres. The braking setup, on the other hand, consists of a 276mm front disc and 220mm rear disc brake paired with a single-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).

On the feature front, the XPulse 200 gets an LED lighting system, a Bluetooth-enabled full-digital instrument cluster, USB charging port, sump guard, and high-mounted exhaust system helping it on long trips and off-roading terrains. And if you're a hardcore off-roader, then there is an additional Rally Kit on offers, priced at Rs 38,000. This kit includes Maxxis rally-spec tyres, a flatter seat, handlebar risers, fully-adjustable long-travel suspension, a bigger footrest and a larger rear sprocket and many more. It is available for both existing and new customers of the Hero XPulse 200. Customers can buy these off-road-ready accessories individually also.

The Hero XPulse 200 doesn't have any direct rival in the Indian market. However, the Royal Enfield Himalayan is considered its closest competitor in nature, which is priced between Rs 2.01 lakh and 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom).

In the other news, the Hero MotoCorp has recently surpassed the 100 Million unit two-wheelers production mark. Click here to read about it in details.
