Bajaj Pulsar 180 To Make A Comeback In Old Naked Avatar!

Bajaj Auto is gearing up to reintroduce the Pulsar 180 in naked avatar. Recently, it has been spied at an authorized Bajaj dealership. If reports are to be believed, it is likely to carry a price tag of Rs 1,04,768 (ex-showroom Mumbai), which is approximately Rs 10,000 less than the ongoing semi-fairing Pulsar 180F (Rs 1,14,003).

2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 – Design & Features

The front fairing of the 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 is similar to its 150cc counterpart. Aside from this, the bike remains identical to the Pulsar 180F. It features a halogen headlamp with bulb indicators & twin DRLs, a tinted front visor, bikini fairing, split sporty grab rails, and an LED tail lamp.

The instrument cluster, on the other hand, remains the same as the Pulsar 180F, which is a semi-digital unit, comprising an analog tachometer and an LCD screen that displays fuel level, speed, odometer, and trip meter.

2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 – Engine & Underpinnings

Coming to the heart of the matter, the new Bajaj Pulsar 180 uses the same BS6-compliant 178.6cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that churns out 17PS at 8,500rpm and 14.2Nm at 6,500rpm, which is 0.2PS and 0.3Nm less than the Pulsar 180F. The 5-speed gearbox unit is unchanged.

As far as the underpinnings are concerned, it will share the same bases as its semi-faired version. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped by 90/90 and 120/80 sections tubeless tires at front and rear respectively. The mass of the bike is suspended on telescopic front forks at the front and gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties will be handled by a 280mm single front disc and a 230mm rear disc, aided by a single-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS). Compared to the Pulsar 180F, the curb weight of the Pulsar 180 naked sport is almost 10kg less.
