- The BMW 320d Sport trim was priced at Rs 42.80 lakh (ex-showroom). With its discontinuation, now only one diesel variant- the 320d Luxury Line remains in BMW 3 Series’s line-up, which is also powered by the same 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine as the 320d Sport trim. Mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission, this frugal motor generates 190PS and 400Nm.
- Petrol variants, on the other hand, will continue to start from Rs 42.6 lakh for the 330i Sport trim variant, and go up to Rs 53.90 lakh for the M sport First Edition of the Gran Limousine trim.
- Besides the variant revision, no other changes have been made to the sedan. It retains the same design as before along with the identical set of features.
- In the luxury sedan segment, the BMW 3 Series locks horn with the Mercedes-Benz C-class (Rs 41.31-54.25 lakh), Audi A4 (Rs 42.34-46.67 lakh), Jaguar XE (Rs 46.64-48.50 lakh), and the recently updated Volvo S60 (Rs 45.90 lakh).
