Earth Energy Launched Its Made-In-India Electric Bikes And Scooter

Mumbai-based electric vehicle startup Earth Energy EV has launched three electric two-wheelers in India, consisting of a Glyde Plus scooter, Evolve Z naked motorcycle, and Evolve R cruiser bike (first-in-segment), priced at Rs 92,000, Rs 1.30 lakh, and Rs 1.42 lakh respectively. All prices are on-road. The company claims that it has obtained 96% localization.

While the bookings of these EVs are open for a refundable token amount of Rs 1000, the deliveries will commence from mid-February for the e-scooter. The electric motorcycles, on the other hand, will be available from April month.

Specifications & Features

All three electric two-wheelers get a standard set of features such as LED lighting, a 5-inch digital instrument cluster with switchable day/night layouts. The rider's display shows various information like speed, battery status, real-time range, and gets smart features like smartphone connectivity, live location, vehicle tracking, theft protection, and turn-by-turn navigation assist, etc. They also get a dedicated Earth EV app as standard. With the help of this app, one can also book a service appointment with pickup/drop services.

On the safety quotient, the e-scooter comes with a combined braking system (CBS) while both electric bikes get Antilock Braking System (ABS) as standard. Now take a look at the specifications of all three Earth Energy EV two-wheelers: –

All the Earth EVs are available in three color options: Marshal Grey, Jet Black, and White, with optional racing decals at an additional cost. These E-two-wheelers are offered with a 3.5-year warranty as standard. There is also an option of an extended warranty of up to 2 years.
