2021 Jeep Compass Facelift: Design & Features

The updated Jeep Compass gets minor cosmetic enhancements on the exterior. In fact, most of the changes are restricted to the front profile only. For starters, it gets a new muscular front bumper with a larger air dam, glossy black finished seven slat grille, new & sharper LED headlamps along with new fog lamp housing. The changes to the side profile are limited to the new alloy wheels. Even the rear profile does not get any update.

Besides this, Jeep has also introduced three new exterior shades: Techno Metallic Green, Galaxy Blue, and Bright White. It also retains some of the older color schemes such as Exotica Red, Minimal Grey, and Magnesio Grey. The Anniversary Edition, on the other hand, is available with the same paint schemes and the standard. However, it features a dual-tone blacked-out roof, bigger alloy wheels, and body-painted front & rear fascia over the regular trims.

While the changes were quite subtle outside, it receives a complete makeover inside the cabin. It features an all-new dashboard that uses soft-touch material with leather trims and glossy black inserts. It’s offered in two interior color schemes: an all-black cabin for Model S, and a dual-tone scheme for all the other variants.

Talking about the features, a new floating 10.1-inch touchscreen takes the center stage. It comes with Jeep’s new UConnect 5 system, connected car technology, integrated Amazon Alexa support, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto smartphone compatibility, an over-the-air (OTA) updates support.

The other notable features include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with 24 customizable layouts, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear AC vents, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a new 3-spoke steering wheel, wireless charging pad, leather upholstery, powered tailgate, 8-way electrically-adjustable front seats with ventilation, cruise control, keyless entry with push-button start, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, etc.

Safety, on the other hand, relies on 6 airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, a 360-degree parking camera, traction control, ESC, hill-start assist, roll-over mitigation, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and parking sensors.
