Hyundai Creta Prices Increased By Up To Rs 31,000

Hyundai Motors has announced a price hike across all models from January 2021 due to the rising input costs. Hyundai's best-selling, Creta compact SUV is also affected by the price hike move and it's asking rates have gone up by around Rs 31,000 depending on the variant. Here's the variant-wise revised prices: –

  • The prices of Creta's petrol trims have been increased by up to Rs 22,000.

  • While the price of Creta E diesel has shot up by up to Rs 31,000, the other variants have witnessed a hike of around Rs 17,000.

Note: The new prices will be effective to all bookings made from 23rd January 2021, whereas those customers who have booked the Creta until 22nd January will have to bear the old prices. 

Apart from the price revision, no changes mechanical or cosmetic changes have been made to the SUV. It will continue to be offered with three engine options, which includes a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (115PS/144Nm), a 1.5-litre diesel (115PS/250Nm), and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol (140PS/242Nm) unit. The features list is also unchanged. The key features comprise split LED headlamps and tail lamps setup, panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, BlueLink connected car tech, apple carplay and android auto smartphone compatibility, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, power-adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, air purifiers, auto climate control, rear AC vents, six airbags, ESC, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system, etc. 

In the compact SUV segment, the Hyundai Creta rivals the likes of Kia Seltos, Maruti S-Cross, Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks, and the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq. However, as per its price range, some of its variants are also positioned against the MG Hector & Tata Harrier. Hyundai will also launch its 7-seater version by the end of 2021.
