Honda Grazia Sports Edition Launched At Rs 82,140

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd has launched a new sporty variant of its 125cc premium scooter, Honda Grazia, named 'Grazia Sports Edition'. Priced at Rs 82,564 (ex-showroom Gurugram), it is Rs 424 more expensive than the regular disc variant.

Compared to the other variants, the Honda Grazia 125 Sports Edition only gets cosmetic upgrades in the form of two new body-color (Pearl Nightstar Black and Sports Red) and revised graphics to suits its sporty character.

Apart from the new shades and contrasting graphics, no additional revisions have been given to the scooter. In terms of features, the Sports Edition shares its equipment-list with the disc variant. The notable features include an all-LED headlamp with LED position lamps, a fully digital instrument cluster that displays the tachometer readings, distance to empty, real-time & average fuel economy, etc.

It also gets an idle-stop system, side-stand indicator, engine kill switch, multifunction key, integrated pass switch, and an external fuel-cap for added convenience.

The Honda Grazia is powered by a 125cc fuel-injected SI engine that produces 8.25PS of maximum power at 6,000rpm and 10.3Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm. This engine comes equipped with Honda eSP technology and an ACG starter. While the eSP reduces friction and improves the combustion process, the ACG motor starts the engine silently by removing gear meshing noise.

Braking duties are performed via a 190mm disc brake at the front and a 130mm rear drum brake. The scooter rolls on 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels, supported by a front telescopic fork and a 3-step adjustable spring-loaded hydraulic at the rear.

In the 125cc segment, the Honda Grazia lock horns with the Aprilia SR 125, Suzuki Burgman Street, and TVS NTorq 125

Author's Take

With the new sporty graphics and paint scheme, the Honda Grazia looks more appealing & youthful. However, compared to its Suzuki & TVS counterparts, it still misses out on features like Bluetooth-enabled console, navigation assist, and mobile charging port, etc.
