MG Hector Plus Base Style Variant Discontinued

In July 2020, MG Motors India had launched the Hector Plus at an introductory price of Rs 13.49 lakh. Later, the prices were revised in August month. Now, the British cum Chinese maker has silently discontinued its base variant- Style. With this, the 6-seater SUV is now only available in three variants: Super, Smart and Sharp. Here is a complete break-up of Hector Plus's variants and their prices: –

As the above tables indicate, the Style trim was available in both petrol (Rs 13.73 lakh) and diesel versions (Rs 14.89 lakh). With the discontinuation of the entry-level trim, the MG Hector Plus has become more expensive as it now ranges between Rs 15.69 lakh and Rs 18.68 lakh (ex-showroom).

As far as the powertrain options are concerned, the 6-seater MG Hector Plus comes with three engine choices: 1.5-liter turbo petrol, 1.5-litre turbo petrol with the mild-hybrid system and 2.0-litre turbo diesel. Their specifications are as follows:-
