Suzuki To Launch A New Product On 7th October

Suzuki Motorcycle is gearing up to launch a new product on October 7. Recently, the Japanese brand has announced this. However, just like the Honda H'Ness CB350, Suzuki has not shared any information related to its product before its launch.

The teaser image released by Suzuki states “Introducing a Superior way to Ride” and showcases an instrument cluster's frame line. This statement can fit on both scooters and bikes.

suzuki to feature smartphone connectivity in two wheelers

It is important to note that in December 2019, Suzuki had trademarked the “Suzuki Ride Connect” nomenclature in India. It indicates that the brand will offer smartphone-compatible instrument clusters in its two-wheelers range and this tagline matches best to this as well.

In Suzuki's lineup almost all the offerings feature a digital instrument console except the Access 125 scooter. Hence, we expect Burgman Street scooter and the Gixxer motorcycle range (Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Gixxer 250 & Gixxer SF 250) will be updated with the new cluster. It is likely to feature smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation support, call/message alerts, and riding statics. This new feature will make Suzuki’s two-wheelers a lot more appealing options than before.

On the other hand, we cannot ignore the fact that Suzuki is preparing to launch V-Strom XT BS6 as well. It is being teased on Suzuki's official site for quite some time now.

If this upcoming product will be the V-Strom 650 XT, then it is expected to get electronic rider aids like dual-channel ABS, 3-levels switchable traction control and analogue-digital instrument console, etc. The engine would be the same as the BS4 model but this time BS6 norms compliant- 645cc, liquid-cooled, V-Twin engine (71PS/62.3Nm). The engine is likely to come mated to a 6-speed gearbox like before.

Stay tuned to Gaadify for more updates.
