Mahindra Thar 2020
2020 Thar was revealed last month. The updated Mahindra off-roader has undergone various design changes and is more feature-rich than its previous model. Also, for the very time, it gets an automatic transmission and a petrol engine as well. It will be offered in two variants (AX and LX) and two seating configurations.
Thar has never been known for the features on offer. However, the updated Thar will get all the modern important features like the touchscreen infotainment system, MID, powered ORVM, rear parking camera, reverse sensors, and a host of safety features to assist the 4-wheel drive duties on the popular SUV. Toyota Urban Cruiser
The Urban Cruiser will be a rebadged version of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, hence there is nothing much to talk about here. The car will get a few design tweaks to make it look different from the Brezza, while Toyota badging will mean better warranties on offer. Frankly, this particular offering comes across as the least exciting of all the cars mentioned on the list. Toyota has also started its pre-bookings.
The Urban Cruiser will borrow the features from the Brezza, some of the major highlights include dual-chamber LED headlamps with integrated dual-function LED DRLs, Suzuki’s SHVS mild-hybrid tech, touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, cruise control, etc.
As far as the engine details are concerned, the Toyota Urban Cruiser will be powered by the Maruti Suzuki’s 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that develops a max power output of 105PS and a peak torque of 138Nm. The car will be offered with both manual and automatic gearbox options.

MG Gloster
MG Motor is all set to bring its full-size SUV, Gloster in the Indian market. It will be the fourth offering from Chinese-British makers in India after the Hector, ZS EV, and Hector Plus. It will be a rebadged version of the Maxus D90, which is currently on sale in the Chinese market.
The Gloster was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. Recently, MG has released its teaser video, revealing its radar-based technology including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking with Collision avoidance system and parking assist, etc. It will also get the autonomous parking assist feature.
