BMW Motorrad have started the bookings for their most affordable two-wheeler offering, G 310 Twins. The BMW G310 Twins (G 310 R and G 310 GS) will now get BS-6 compliant engines.
While the customers get the option of visiting the BMW Motorrad dealership, they can also place the booking online by filling up an enquiry form through the brand's website while sitting at the comforts of their home. The auto giant also asserted that deliveries will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis.
About BS6 BMW G 310 Twins
While we still await an official announcement from the company, thanks to the teaser, we have a fair bit of idea about what’s coming ahead. In a welcome move, the teaser hints toward a shift to all-LED lighting (this is also confirmed by the spied images of G310 twins that surfaced a couple of months ago).
Apart from the lighting system, there are minor design tweaks and even the headlight housing has been reworked and comes across as remarkably distinct from the outgoing model.
Engine Option
As far as the engine option is concerned, The G 310 twins will feature the BS6 compliant 312.2cc single-cylinder engine that is expected to be more refined as compared to the outgoing models. This engine also powers the TVS flagship, Apache RR 310.
The BS4 mill produced a power output of 34 PS and torque output of 28 Nm and the performance figures for the update can be expected to lie in the same range as well. This engine like its predecessor will be offered with 6-speed manual gearbox.

It might get a host of advanced tech
Going by the fact that Apache RR 310, with its latest update, got a host of advanced connected tech including the likes of the ride-by-wire throttle, four ride modes, upgraded instrumentation cluster, and smartphone connectivity, we expect the G 310 twin sisters to receive many of these advanced features.
