BMW 5-series facelift teased. Check expected Feature and Price

There have been speculations regarding the launch of a BMW 5 series facelift being around the corner, and with the images that were leaked on Wednesday morning, we can be assured of the fact that launch is happening and will be something to look forward to.

The first look of the BMW 5 series facelift has been teased ahead of its internet premiere and set of leaked images suggest that the updated G30 5-series is expected to receive a number of cosmetic upgrades

Design

BMW 5 series

The front houses a number of design upgrades including a large kidney grille which gives the front fascia an updated fresh look and is outright visible, this grille is housed from its sibling the facelifted X1. 

A slimmer new design for LED Headlamps with integrated fog lamps and a reworked bumper with larger air dams are some of the other changes that make the face look different from the current offering.

The tail lamp receives the distant L-shaped lighting element from the updated 3 series, which looks good.   

Interiors

The leaks do not reveal anything about the interior but some minor tweaks can not be written off. The car might receive the latest iDrive infotainment system which might come paired with a new instrumentation cluster.

The car is offered at a premium price and is filled up to the brim with features, the facelift might take them a notch higher with the inclusion of more of safety tech like 360-degree cameras, lane changing assistance, reverse assistant and many more which we will know about only after the company issues a word.

The car is expected to carry forward the same engine options that are on offer currently.

As far as price is concerned the car may be offered at a premium of Rs 1 Lakh over current model which is priced between Rs. 55.4 Lakhs and Rs 68.4 Lakhs (both ex-showroom).
