Author's Take

Honda City has always dominated the sedan segment. However, rising competition in the past few years has definitely affected its sales. Now with the introduction of the new generation model, Honda might once again be able to attract more and more customers. It is more premium, bigger, and features rich than its predecessor which can work in its favor.

It is also important to note that apart from the Hyundai Venue, now Honda City is also available with diesel engine option in the segment. But its prices are very high than the Verna. Honda may have to bear the brunt of this.
