2026 Tata Punch Facelift Looks Ready For Launch In Latest Spy Images

The upcoming Tata Punch facelift has been spied testing once again ahead of its expected launch in early 2026. While the test mule was heavily camouflaged, it looks production-ready.

2026 Tata Punch Facelift – What To Expect?

The latest images of the Tata Punch facelift suggest a redesigned front facia, with slimmer LED DRLs, a new headlamp setup and a redone grille and bumper. It also hints at new 5-spoke alloy wheels; however, the overall silhouette and body lines look unchanged.

Keen eyes could also notice a small bulge on the bottom side of the ORVMs, which are actually cameras. This suggests the 2026 Punch will get a 360-degree camera setup.

The rear will also be slightly updated, with new connecting taillamps and a restyled bumper.

Interior and Features

Inside, the Punch facelift is likely to get an updated infotainment, a new 2-spoke steering with an illuminated Tata logo, a fully digital cluster, and ventilated front seats. On the safety front, the micro SUV will get standard six airbags, which is not offered in the current model.

Besides, amenities like cruise control, height-adjustable driver seat, auto AC, rear AC vents, wireless charger, cooled glovebox, hill hold assist, TPMS, ISOFIX anchors, etc, will be carried forward from the existing model.

Engine Options

No changes are expected underneath the hood. The Punch is expected to retain the existing 1.2-litre petrol (88PS/113Nm), with an optional factory-fitted CNG kit. While the petrol mill can be had with either a 5-speed manual or AMT, the CNG powertrain only comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Expected Price and Rivals

The 2026 Punch is likely to be priced between Rs 5.60 lakh and Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will continue its rivalry against the likes of Hyundai Exter, Citroen C3 and select variants of Nissan Magnite, Maruti Fronx and Renault Kiger.
