2026 Renault Kwid Facelift Launching On July 3

Renault India has announced the arrival of the Kwid facelift on July 3, 2026. Expect the entry-level hatchback to feature significant design changes and new features.

Here’s what you can expect from the 2026 Renault Kwid facelift: –

2026 Renault Kwid: Dacia Spring-Inspired Design

  • Going by the spy shots, the facelifted Kwid is expected to feature a Dacia Spring-like revamped design. That said, it is expected to flaunt a completely new front facia, featuring a new split lighting setup with Y-shaped LED DRLs, a scooped bonnet, and a redesigned bumper.
  • Things will largely remain unchanged on the sides, save for the newly designed wheels, along with a horizontal black C-pillar applique for added appeal.
  • The rear will also feature Y-shaped tail lamps, with a large glossy black element connecting them. The rear bumper will also be redesigned.
For those unaware, the Dacia Spring is essentially an electric version of the Renault Kwid, sold in select international markets.

  • The cabin shots also confirm Dacia Spring EV-like interior design, with a larger touchscreen infotainment taking the centre stage of the new dashboard layout.
  • Expect it to also get a new steering wheel and a redesigned instrument cluster.
  • While it’s not official, the 2026 Kwid is likely to get new amenities like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a front centre armrest, revised upholstery, Type-C USB charging ports and an enhanced safety package with six airbags as standard.

Mechanical Changes Unlike

We do not expect any mechanical changes underneath the hood. This Maruti S-Presso-rivalling cross-hatch will continue to get the same 68hp 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine as the current model, offered with 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT units.

Expected Price

Expect the 2026 Kwid to command a significant premium over the current model, which retails between Rs 4.30 lakh and Rs 5.88 lakh (ex-showroom).
