2025 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition Revealed Check Bookings Details

After introducing the Fortuner Leader Edition in 2024, Toyota has now rolled out its upgraded 2025 iteration, with prices yet to be announced. The recent updates make the SUV look more premium and sportier than the standard model. Based on the SUV’s 4×2 diesel variant, its bookings will start in the second week of October 2025.

2025 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition – What’s New?

The Leader Edition flaunts a host of visual enhancements and functional tweaks over the regular Fortuner to sweeten the SUV’s overall appeal. To start with, the SUV gets a redesigned grille with latticed slats and ‘FORTUNER’ lettering above, making it look apart from the standard version. It also gets a chrome-finished bumper spoiler, along with glossy black 18-inch alloy wheels. Additionally, Toyota has also revised the rear bumper.

Toyota offers the Fortuner Leader Edition in four hues – Attitude Black, Pearl White, Silver Metallic and Super White – all with a black roof.

Inside, the Fortuner Leader Edition sports a new black-and-maroon finish for the door liners and seats. However, the interior layout remains unchanged. It also gets new amenities like auto-folding side mirrors, illuminated scuff plates and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Other than these additions, the Fortuner retains features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone auto AC, ventilated front seats, a 6-speaker sound system, a wireless phone charger, cruise control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, seven airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, traction control, seat-belt reminder for all, and rear parking sensors.

What Powers The Fortuner Leader Edition?

At the heart of the Fortuner Leader Special Edition is the same 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces 204PS of max power and up to 500Nm of peak torque. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels via either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
