2025 Tata Nexon Gets ADAS and New RedDark Edition

After the Nexon EV, Tata Motors has now updated the ICE-powered Nexon with ADAS technology. The sub-4m SUV also receives a new Red Dark Edition, which gets bespoke visual enhancements for added appeal.

Improved Safety with ADAS

  • As mentioned above, Tata has introduced a level-1 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite with the turbocharged-DCT version of Fearless Plus PS and the newly added Red Dark Edition variants, priced at Rs 13.53 lakh and Rs 13.81 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
  • It comprises advanced active safety technologies like lane keep assist, front collision warning, lane departure warning, high-beam assist, traffic signal recognition, and autonomous emergency braking.

Nexon Red Dark Edition

Earlier offered with the Nexon EV, the Red Dark sporty treatment is now extended to the Nexon ICE as well, with prices ranging between Rs 12.44 lakh and Rs 14.15 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new Red Dark variant is based on the top-spec Fearless Plus PS variant and commands a premium of up to Rs 28,000 over it. For this added premium, it gets the following cosmetic changes over the regular model: –

  • Stealthier-looking Atlas Black body shade
  • Dark finish for the alloy wheels and badges
  • A Red Dark badge on the fender
  • An all-black interior scheme
  • Red coloured seat upholstery
  • Bespoke graphics for the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment and instrument cluster

Tata has also introduced rear window sunshades for the Fearless Plus PS and Red Dark Edition. The other notable features of the SUV include automatic climate control, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, 9-speaker JBL sound system, wireless smartphone charger, keyless entry with push button start, cruise control, a 360-degree camera, auto-dimming IRVM, 6 airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, ABS with EBD, front & rear parking sensors, and electronic stability control (ESC).
